I wish that David would post a song or two so that we could get a taste of it while the CD is in transit!

He should post Tell Her Something.

I used to love this* version of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uafS5g_z17g
And hated the one on The Age of Information album.

OOOH! BETTER YET, MAKE A VIDEO! (Like that would ever happen. Grin )

*Who posted these videos? BV? Andrew? Couldn't find the original thread, so uploaded the one on my drive to YouTube.

Do you have all these videos? I don't have them anymore. I'd love it if you uploaded them to YouTube.

The best version I've heard of "Tell Her Something" is the recording from the Daughtry tour that someone posted (New England area, I think). It's not a great recording, but it's the slow, full band version. Very pretty.
And I think you're crazy if you "hate" TAOI version...but I understand how you can like the slower version better.

I didn't like the sound of TAOI that much... It didn't feel "Hodges-y" Smiley And I was expecting an acoustic Tell Her Something, so it was more of a disappointment than anything. I'm sure if I didn't have any expectations, I would have liked it just fine. Smiley

sjkhgksjhksghsdljg;rlywrlkhslkhg!!!!!11!!

NO WORDS NO WORDS! *whimper* after all these years, the prospect of a new DH album still reduces me to a babbling incoherant teenage fangirl. Sigh. I want a shiny CD Sad

Also, I spend too much time on Facebook, apparently - I keep looking for the "like" button on all of the posts in this thread!

That version of THS is freaking amazing. It's possible that I'm going to drown in a puddle of my own drool. Send help. No wait, don't, I want to enjoy this death.

SO EXCITED ABOUT THE ITUNES RELEASE IS IT TIME YET IS IT TIME IS IT IS IT

Yeah... Please.

And David, if you read this, please make sure you do it again at a very late hour on a weekday so that no one from Europe can join in again. Smiley

Soooo, bought it on iTunes today after school and haven't stopped listening to it!
I tried cleaning my room while listening to it, but found myself instead sitting on the floor, enjoying the music.

Point of the story, my room is still a mess, but my ears (EDIT: and heart) are happy.
